The same eight questions. One attempt each.

Daily is a solo challenge with the same eight questions for everyone that day. You get one attempt, and the host asks the questions and responds to your answers. Your completed score goes onto the shared leaderboard.

That makes a message like “I got six today” mean something. Your friend faces the same challenge, so neither of you needs to explain which topic or difficulty you picked. You can play at different times and still have a result worth comparing.

Daily has its own eight-question format. Classic and Improv offer the separate 10- or 20-minute session choice. Daily is included with Basic and Premium.

A small ritual around the commute

Daily can become the little event around an ordinary journey: a game as a passenger before reaching the office, a round after you have parked, or something to look forward to once you get home. The host gives you something to respond to, and the result gives the day a small competitive thread.

Choose a moment when you can finish. Starting Daily uses that day's attempt; leaving the game unfinished does not give you another try. You will also need an internet connection.

Because answers are spoken, think about the people around you. A quiet train carriage may be a better place to check the leaderboard than to play. Find a spot where talking is comfortable and the microphone can hear you. Drivers should play after parking or leave the game to passengers.

Turn a score into a friendly challenge

1. Agree to play the same day's Daily. Each person takes their own solo attempt whenever it fits their day.
2. Share your result card in the group chat. Quizy's card shows your result without revealing the questions or answers. “Six today. Your turn.” is enough of an invitation.
3. Compare scores on the board. Choose a leaderboard nickname your friends will recognise, and see where you finished.
4. Keep the rivalry going. The Today, Week, Month and Year boards give you different ways to follow the competition. One good morning can start a much longer conversation.

Your friend might play before breakfast while you play after work. You do not have to arrange a live match or gather around one phone. Send the score, leave the questions unspoiled and let them take their turn.

Something to talk about when you arrive

The fun is partly in getting an answer right. It is also in finding out that your friend missed the one you thought was obvious, or knew something you would never have guessed. Daily gives you a common experience on days when your routines barely overlap.
