VOCO AS operates the Quizy website. Contact support@quibly.no about your information or privacy choices. This notice covers the public website; the app has its own privacy notice.

Optional analytics

If you choose Accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits, pages read, scrolling, article links, demo plays and App Store link clicks. Google receives usage and device information, such as browser, device category, approximate location and a cookie identifier. We use this information to improve the site and understand which campaigns bring visitors. Consent is the basis for this optional collection.

We do not load Google Analytics before you accept. Rejecting analytics leaves the website and demo available. We do not send email addresses or spoken answers to Analytics. Arbitrary URL query strings and fragments are excluded; only predefined campaign labels are passed through. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in our website tag.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies whose names begin _ga. We configure these cookies to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. We also store your cookie choice in your browser for 180 days. Analytics retains event data for two months and user data for 14 months, with the user-data retention period renewed on new activity. Aggregate reports can be retained longer.

Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to change your choice. Rejecting after accepting stops future collection and removes Analytics cookies from this site; it does not automatically delete data already processed. You may also clear your browser’s site data. We cannot identify your visits from an email address alone because we do not send it to Analytics.

Essential website operation

Our server processes connection information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and secure the website. Server access logs support troubleshooting and security. These operations are separate from optional Analytics. The site also remembers a colour-theme choice in local storage when you use the theme switch.

Quizy newsletter

If you subscribe, we email you the Quizy newsletter with product news, new quizzes and offers. We ask you to confirm your email address before activating your subscription. Newsletter consent is separate from analytics consent; you do not need to accept analytics to subscribe.

We keep your email address, subscription status, consent wording, signup and confirmation dates, and a record of newsletter issues sent on our own server. We use Brevo to deliver confirmation messages and newsletters, so Brevo processes the recipient address, message content and delivery information. Our support mailbox remains with iCloud. We do not sell subscriber addresses. See Brevo’s privacy policy and data-processing agreement.

Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or email support@quibly.no to withdraw consent. Unsubscribing stops further newsletters. We keep active subscriptions until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days; unsubscribed records and related delivery records are removed after 30 days. Access-restricted recovery backups rotate within a further 30 days.

Short-lived, keyed hashes of IP addresses help limit signup abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in the subscriber database. Confirmation and unsubscribe pages do not load Analytics, and their secret links are excluded from website access logs.

Contact

If you email support, your message and address are handled through our existing iCloud business mailbox so we can respond. Contacting support does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.

Your rights

You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent, or exercise other applicable data-protection rights. You can also complain to Datatilsynet.
